HOSPITAL FUNDING


√    Commonwealth contributions to Redland Hospital increased from $49 million to $53 million during the last financial year.  For the same time, the Labor state government that runs the show, in August of last year cut its $127 million to $94 million year on year. This is Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IPHA) data. It's data provided by the state Labor government, which is cutting the heart out of Redland Hospital

√    Redlands United Football Club - Upgrade club facilities for weddings, conferences and meetings (Cleveland)

√    Wellington Point Bowls Club – construction of viewing platform

SAFER STREETS AND FERRY TERMINALS
Andrew and the Liberals are delivering funding for commuters to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands:


√    15 CCTV cameras installed to improve safety at the Weinam Creek ferry terminal precinct, Redland Bay 


√    CCTV cameras on Southern Moreton Bay Ferry Terminals, installation planning underway


√    16 CCTV cameras to improve safety in the Capalaba Place Precinct, a central pedestrian corridor and bus interchange.

 


ROAD UPGRADES
Andrew and the Liberals are delivering funding for better roads, to reduce congestion and improve safety.  Projects include:


√     $10 million for Rickertt Road/Greencamp Road upgrade


√    $6 million for Chelsea/Rickertt Road traffic 


√    $15 million Wellington Street upgrade

LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS


√    $6.1 million to fix local road black spots

 


CHILDCARE


√    Around 7,030 local families in Bowman are benefiting from the New Child Care Package

ENVIRONMENT


√    20 million trees project, Koala habitat planting consisting of 16,200 plants in Mount Cotton
